United College of Education, Kaul (Kaithal) is run under the aegis of the United Educational Society, Karnal. Keeping in view the growing demand for trained B.Ed teachers in the state of Haryana, the trust took a giant step and decided to set up a College of Education in the year 2006, offering teacher training courses — D.Ed (JBT) and B.Ed.
The United College of Education aims at providing quality education to the youth of the nation in general and the locality in particular. The core purpose of the college is to transform society through quality education.
The college has its own building with adequate infrastructure facilities. It is one of the best B.Ed colleges in the regions of Haryana, having all the requisite facilities required for a B.Ed college: a Psychology Laboratory, Science Laboratory, Educational Technology Laboratory, and facilities for Language Learning. We encourage every student to attend the workshops organised by our college and also to attend activities organised by Kurukshetra University.
It has a Library with one of the best collections of books, encyclopedias, journals and periodicals among the B.Ed colleges of Haryana. The college also has a sprawling playground to facilitate students in sports and games.
The college was established and nurtured by three visionaries who shared a dream of bringing serious teacher education to rural Haryana. Together, they transformed a vision into a thriving institution.
Sh. O.P. Bhardwaj was the founder of United College of Education. He retired from LIC as a Development Officer in 2000 and was awarded various recognitions during his service years. He was most recognised for registering the highest number of insurances in a single day, which broke records in the insurance industry.
He was passionate about working and was always a risk-taker. After his retirement, he established United College of Education in his home village Kaul and took up a new role as the Chairperson of the college from 2006–2015. He always worked hard to take the college to new heights and encouraged his co-members and faculty members to reach their full potential.
Sh. Vishal Dixit was the co-founder of United College of Education. He was a young entrepreneur who joined as General Secretary after completing his graduation from Dyal Singh College, Karnal, and paved his way to the top, taking up the role of Chairperson of the college in 2015.
He dedicated his life to his work and put the college on the map by adding various new technologies and facilities over the years, and played a vital role in the development of the college from the very beginning.
Sh. Anuj Dixit emerged as a strong supporting pillar for both Sh. O.P. Bhardwaj and Sh. Vishal Dixit, and has been instrumental in strengthening the college's foundation and vision. His dedication and strategic contributions have been crucial to the college's growth and development.
In 2021, Sh. Anuj Dixit assumed the role of Chairperson and has continued to lead the college with vision and commitment. Under his stewardship, the college has achieved new milestones and continues to maintain its position as one of the finest B.Ed institutions in the region. He remains deeply committed to the values of quality education and institutional excellence.
