The B.Ed program in Education is designed to meet national and international standards, and is delivered by highly qualified faculty. The program has a balanced exposure to both academic and on-job training, and is a 2-year full-time course, including a compulsory internship.
Our comprehensive teacher training program focuses on enhancing αlpha teachers' language proficiency and digital literacy, catering to the needs of Generation Z. It gives αlpha teachers the opportunity to learn how to function as teachers in a long-term school internship through a scholarship program.
The program harbours a 'Growth-Mindset' in αlpha Teachers to equip them with the basics of child psychology, that nurtures them to become α facilitators and create an understanding of using innovative tools and techniques in teaching. They also instil a spirit of relational connection, preparing them to lead in a purposeful direction with a bright future.
Our unique pedagogy involves a variety of innovative teaching, teaching-learning, evaluation methods and strategies that are taught over the course of two years and then passed on to our students to utilise in their own courses once they begin working as teachers.
The degree programs prepare students for real classroom teaching and offer αlpha Teachers opportunities for practical, hands-on experience and extended internships. Some innovative pedagogical practices used are: Flipped Learning, Problem-Based Learning, Story Telling, Blended Learning & Comic Strips.
